my science – my cells (13)

my science – my cells (13): maybe my crazy neurons during the experiment with new materials 😂😂 not sure, if i should go on…? mixed media with resin, embedded in plywood (40 x 40 cm).

lapland blues

Hervorgehoben

lapland blues, or cornflowers in the snow: acrylic polymer binder, inks, resin on ceramic (30x50cm)

i really was somewhat surprised that one morning the earth was covered by 10 cm snow – in the middle of the lapland’s summer!!

a moment of eternity

I wished I could share with you this hypnotic and all-enveloping spicy warmth of the woods in the arctic: these intoxicating scents of the forest on the tip of my nose and the sweet kisses by moss and horsetail on my heels…

my anothermicroworld – geology of the soul (24) / mars in me 🔥 🤣

i did see „the bloody moon“ last night, but i glimpsed the moon neither in her true gaudy red colours, nor i glanced the planet mars at all. never mind!! i do carry mars in me 🔥 🤣: this incredible power for the „battle“ of life: vital and confident. mars is kind a patron of my birth month (01.03), and at times i feel his 😈 energy in me 😂: the fiery passion for the pulsing life and the spirit of adventure. this work is a bit an illusion: one sees structures and would like to finger them… an impossible endeavour…all is behind a thick glass clear resin layer 😂. mixed media: acrylic paints, inks, mixatives and resin in wooden canvas (40 x 40 cm).

last night at 02.30 AM: july’s total moon eclipse in lapland (28.07.2018)

my anothermicroworld – geology of the soul / metamorphic rocks (9)

this is the orbital search for harmony, in the conjunction with each indivdual microworld of mine…to become a complete planet. i hope my soul’s geology – these imaginary sediments – is a visual treat to you. mixed media: acrylics, inks, metallic pigments. all embedded in resin and plywood (40 x 40 cm)

my science – my cells (8)

my science – my cells (8): working in concert with one another…to keep outside out, allow necessities in, permit others to leave . the idea to have in the cells a mirror of the circle of live fascinates me!! now that i am in lapland – until ending of august – i feel how these fellows do their job with renewed vigour 😂  mixed media, inter alia airbrush colours, acrylics, resin, embedded in plywood (40 x 40 cm). i love to mix „science“ and emotions in my works!!

lapland impressions (6) – frosty

lapland impressions (6) – frosty. this work came to life last summer in my cottage in lapland: an experiment in highly playful way…and it was such fun working with these materials 🙌 mixed media: alcohol inks, alu-foil, layered resin on ceramic and wood.

lapland impressions (4) – colours and sentiments running down my spine

lapland impressions: colours and sentiments, running down my spine. mixed media: alcohol inks, resin etc. on ceramic and wood. (sold)

should i stay or should i go

fishswarm turquoise

„should i stay or should i go“: acrylic on canvas (100×100 cm). yeah, the universe beneath us is incredible, fantastic in its abundance and variety…i love the swirling amongst the fishswarm while painting in half-trance – and whilst diving in a real, deep sea…(this one was a commissioned work and i had to struggle a very long time until i could even start, but then, it was really flowing. anytime i swear, never again a custom order…till i do it again…😱 (ps: sorry, after posting this work, i realized that the painting was already released earlier !!)

lapland impressions (3) – secret life of roots

the work was born last summer (2017) in my cottage in finland/lapland, some 200 kilometers to the north of the arctic circle. i had kind of home chemistry over there, experimenting with different materials: acrylic paints, inks, chemicals, water and fire… i really could enjoy painting to the fullest, ‚cause the sun didn’t set…                                                                                                            mixed media: layered bioresin with acrylics, inks, metallic pigments etc. on metal.
