my anothermicroworld – geology of the soul / golden islands (16). mixed media: steelplate, acrylic paints, inks, mixatives, resin – all embedded in plywood (40 x 40 cm). somebody said once about this work: „another circular door for us to open in our minds. once open, we allow ourselves to drift into dreams and experience deep positive feelings.“
i did see „the bloody moon“ last night, but i glimpsed the moon neither in her true gaudy red colours, nor i glanced the planet mars at all. never mind!! i do carry mars in me 🔥 🤣: this incredible power for the „battle“ of life: vital and confident. mars is kind a patron of my birth month (01.03), and at times i feel his 😈 energy in me 😂: the fiery passion for the pulsing life and the spirit of adventure. this work is a bit an illusion: one sees structures and would like to finger them… an impossible endeavour…all is behind a thick glass clear resin layer 😂. mixed media: acrylic paints, inks, mixatives and resin in wooden canvas (40 x 40 cm).

lapland impressions (5) – antlers as an offering to the mother earth (sami-folk believes that the spirit of life is living in the reindeer antlers). mixed media, alcohol inks, acrylics, gold pigments, resin etc. on ceramics and wood.

the work was born last summer (2017) in my cottage in finland/lapland, some 200 kilometers to the north of the arctic circle. i had kind of home chemistry over there, experimenting with different materials: acrylic paints, inks, chemicals, water and fire… i really could enjoy painting to the fullest, ‚cause the sun didn’t set… mixed media: layered bioresin with acrylics, inks, metallic pigments etc. on metal.
my anothermicroworld (23) – geology of the soul: ice is melting. mixed media: acrylic paints, inks, resin on metal, all embedded in plywood (40 x 40 cm).

polar night, and the sun is just an idea: mystical time within the polar circles, when the sun no longer rises above the horizion at all…enigmatic!! mixed media: acrylic paints, acrylate polymer emulsion, layered resin on wooden canvas (50 x 50 cm)
